Lancaster and Morecambe College are seeking a Deputy Engagement Manager to provide operational leadership to the Student Engagement team and to work collaboratively with the Head of Engagement to help deliver the College’s strategic plan.
The purpose of the Student Engagement team is to support the retention and achievement of LMC learners by removing barriers and providing a range of support to enable to them to stay on course, be safe and thrive within the College environment, and to progress onto further study or employment. As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all learners receive the necessary support to succeed, by overseeing the delivery of excellent and innovative student-centred services.
You should have experience in working with young people and supervising/managing staff. Experience in providing information, advice and guidance in a relevant setting is also essential to this role. You should hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, as well as GCSE Maths and English.
